Making Muted Backgrounds with 20/20

  1. Lumpy Muted Wallpaper Example - 100% OpacityOpen the 20/20 program.
  2. In the main toolbar select “>File –> Open
  3. A new window will open. “Image –> Muted BackGround
  4. A new window called Muted Background effect is now open. There is a slide bar at the bottom & in the middle it will change the Opacity level.
  5. Lumpy Muted Wallpaper Example - 70% OpacitySlide back and forth until you get the muted effect you want. I set mine at around 60% or so for background 100% for wallpaper. You can preview the image. If its the way you want it then click Apply.
  6. You now have a muted backround or tiled wallpaper!
  7. Don’t forget to save your background. File –> Save As

Opacity level means it will change the amount of light going thru your image. The opacity level ranges from completely transparent (0) to completely opaque (100).
